A brief history of Sue's life so far
Sue aged about 5, having been sent out to get some water by her mother
At about the age of ten an accident with some glue resulted in Sue's lips literally being sealed, as shown in this school photograph. This later became known as Sue's quiet phase

In the mid eighties, as well as running her shop, Sue started to take clarinet lessons. She's seen here standing behind the winner of the music school musical chairs competition. It was later claimed that he cheated by stopping playing his clarinet before anyone else
Also in the mid eighties Sue went on a couple of canal holidays. Here she's seen celebrating her win in a game of chicken. The elderly couple coming the other way were forced to turn aside and were last seen just south of the Isle of Wight
In 1988 Sue got pregnant and, apparently, went completely mad
Sanity was restored at the end of 1988 with the birth of Helen
It became clear in the early nineties that, while Sue's sanity had returned, her fashion sense was still AWOL
About a year later the fashion experiments were going from bad to worse
In the mid nineties, while on holiday with some girlfriends, Sue got drunk. They found this so unusual that they took a picture...
Stephanie was born in 1999, and actually seemed to quite enjoy being used for ventriloquism practice
New year 2004/5, Sue still hasn't got the hang of ventriloquism, but now has a bigger dummy
